Misc.pictures

Thank you to my sisters for being such a big help when I had Luke. I was so happy to have them both there in the hospital room!

I just love this picture of Wyatt and Jared on Father's Day. Just like Dad!

Wyatt loves his little brother Luke and is so interested in him. He really is such a big help!

Takin' it easy

Wow, life sure has changed for the Williams family, but we're just trying to take it easy. Luke really is a great baby! He sleeps well and eats just fine, what else could I ask for? He sure is a blessing in our life! As he gets a little older the majority of people tell us he looks like me. We'll let you be the judge. I want to get some cute pictures taken of Wyatt and Luke, but with my free time I've decided I should be napping instead! I'll get some soon. Wyatt LOVES his baby brother and can't wait to see him in the morning when he wakes up! He has been pretty good, except when he tries to poke Luke's eyes or stick his finger deep in Luke's mouth. Why do all kids like to do that? I have been so lucky to have such a wonderful support group (family). All last week Wyatt spent the day and evening (he came home to sleep) with someone other than me. I was able to enjoy Luke and rest, rest, rest! This week I figure I can handle 2 kids, and so far it's gone pretty good (although it's only Tuesday). The only time I got really upset was when Wyatt ran into my heel with his wagon. Ouch! I remember doing that same thing to my Mom, only it was usually a big, heavy shopping cart. Now I know why she would get so upset. It hurts! Anyway, Wyatt is fun as ever and loves to repeat every single thing anyone says. He also likes to copy. Jared took these pictures of Wyatt outside on the chair. The funny thing was that he was copying Jared, complete with his hands and feet crossed. He makes us laugh.

Luke has arrived!

Yes, Luke has joined the force, I mean family. Luke Bowman Williams arrived June 14th @ 2:21 a.m, weighing in at 7 lbs. 8 oz. and measuring 20 in. long! I was excited to find out that the second delivery goes a lot faster. Everything went well, Luke is healthy and we are home getting adjusted. We're not sure who Luke looks like yet, but we know he doesn't look like Wyatt did when he was born. Speaking of Wyatt, he is busy with Grandma and Grandpa Williams, and playing with cousins each day that he barely knows about Luke. Wyatt comes home each night to go to bed and wants to give "baby Luke" a kiss before he goes to sleep. I am so grateful for the help, but am missing Wyatt and our little routine we had. He was my little buddy for almost 2 years, and it was so much fun! I thought he'd have a hard time adjusting to the new addition, but it's me having the hard time! Anyway, next week Wyatt will be joining me and Luke, and that should be interesting :) Jared is doing well as a new papa. He was able to be home for the weekend and has now gone back to working. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy!

Still no room at the inn

Nope, not yet! I am still waiting for an available room at Banner Baywood. Oh well, at least I am able to spend time with my husband, who has taken the rest of the week off, and Wyatt. I told Jared today that I couldn't sit around the house waiting, so we've headed out to Walmart and Costco. Last night I really hoped I would get a call, and I didn't even care if it was at 2 am! Instead of getting a call I dreamt all about it and had a pretty restless night. I thought being induced was supposed to be convenient?! OK, enough complaining from me. By not having the baby yet I have been able to visit Mom, which is good. These pictures were actually taken on Sunday.
Everything will turn out fine! I'll keep everyone posted!

Not yet

Well, today is supposed to be the day I have another baby, but I called this morning and was told, "not yet!" It seems lots of ladies have come in today in labor, so there isn't any space for me! Oh well, I guess I have to continue to learn patience. There isn't any medical reason I am being induced, it's just that my doctor will be out of town on my real due date, which is June 24th. Anyway, that's the newest news for us. I do have everything ready at least. I spent the entire day yesterday cleaning and preparing for today. For now I will just wait.

Hey, at least I have a fun little guy to play with today! I am feeling bad thinking about how things will be changing so much for Wyatt! I really enjoy him and love him so much. He really is a product of me. Yesterday we were driving around in the car and he kept repeating, "Gum?, Candy?, Snack?" He loves sugar! I can't blame anyone but myself. Anytime we check out of the store I will buy some candy or gum, so now he comes to expect it. I should really be more careful, for my sake and his! I should be a better example. I am really trying hard to only give him 1 fruit snack a day! Yes, I do give him gum and he is learning to chew rather than swallow, but now he is in to taking the gum out of his mouth. A couple days ago he woke up with gum on his pajamas and blanket! What? I didn't give him gum before bed. He must've taken it out of his mouth and hid it for another time. Weird. This last weekend Dad came home from training in CA and we were able to go to lunch with him. Wyatt loves his grandparents and is learning to say "Papa Vevv" for Grandpa Webb. It's so cute! Wyatt will repeat anything and everything. He is really talking a lot. Here are some pictures from this last weekend. I had to include one of Wyatt with "Gum?" and one with Grandpa Webb.

Cars and Potty's

Our little man Wyatt is so much fun! We love watching him change and grow. He absolutely loves his cars and doesn't want to do anything without them. He collected so many that I got a bucket to put them in, so now he can take them anywhere, including bed! He is fascinated with them and spends a lot of time talking about them and lining them up wherever. The funniest is when he falls asleep with them. Sometimes I'll go in and check on him before I go to bed and his hands will be in the bucket with his fingers securely wrapped around a few cars. Right now he is really interested in the "pottty" and wants to sit on his just for fun. He hasn't actually "gone", but he tries. Of course his cars are right there with him and sometimes he'll store a few in the potty. What a kid! We love him so much and can't wait to see him as a big brother. He adores little kids and babies, so I think he'll be great!

The real first post!

We thought it would be great to have a blog for friends, especially those far away, and family, so here goes! Life is busy for the Williams as we get comfortable in our new home, and prepare for baby boy #2! I am being induced next Tuesday, one week! We're so excited and really scared to have another child. Wyatt is so much fun and so full of energy! My days are going to be pretty hectic at first, but we know Wyatt will be as helpful as he can be and that he'll just love a little brother.

Promise to post more later, Christine
