Going on dates with Jared

Another fun boating trip!

Last Wednesday we were lucky enough to go on another boating day trip and this time with Jared! We had a good time tubing and then enjoyed sandwiches for dinner on the lake. The weather was perfect and it was fun seeing Wyatt and Jared on the tube. Wyatt loved it and although I couldn't hear him I could see him mouthing, "Hi Mom, Papa, Mama, and Luke!" Luke had fun too, but was feeling a little uncomfortable. What's with the huge life vests for babies? Thanks to Jared's parents for a fun time!

Almost 4 months

What a baby we have! We sure love Luke and can't believe he is almost 4 months!! Lately he has enjoyed chewing on his fists, talking, and even laughing out loud. What a cutie.

Pumping

Well, well, well, it looks like Wyatt has been paying too close attention to Mom, and that's all I have to say about that!

FINALLY!

Finally a new post! Us Williams' have been busy little bees!! We have had a blast the past few weeks, though! Wyatt celebrated his 2nd b-day with not just 1, but 2 parties! Lucky guy. We had a party at home on his real birthday (Aug 30) and then had a fun and very loud lunch party at Chuck E. Cheese's on the following Saturday.

Wy's b-day!!

Wyatt got ALL cars and loves every single one of them! Thank you to everyone for the gifts! One night he wanted to sleep with all 3 of his big cars. Once he fell asleep I had to remove them from his bed, because they took up most of the crib. Since his birthday he now has a really excited/surprised face that he does. I'll have to include a picture of it. It's pretty funny! His newest things to say, "No, stop it!", "Don't!" and "Mine!" We're so proud! :) I can't believe my baby is 2!!
The new "Wow!" face

Labor Day was a great day for us! Jared has been really busy and consumed with owning a dental practice, so we don't feel like we see him much around here! But, the long weekend was just what Jared needed. He really relaxed, well sort of! We went out and got some paint for our house...finally! We've been in this place for 6 months now and haven't painted one single white wall! Anyway, we started painting the kitchen, so I'll post some pictures once that's finished.

Me and Wy-guy at Lake Powell

Jared left for Oregon Sept. 5 for work and won't be home until late Tues. night, so I didn't want to be home by myself for that long and didn't really want to hang out in a hotel with 2 kids in Oregon for 6 days, so me and the boys went to Lake Powell with Jared's family!! We left on the 5th and got home on Saturday the 8th. We had soo much fun! I was a little nervous to go without Jared, but I had more help than I could've imagined! Jared's family was great! Wyatt absolutely loved being around his cousins and I enjoyed visiting with everyone! Jared's brother Troy and his wife Judith adopted an 11 year old girl from Russia named Yana, so it was neat meeting her too. Wyatt preferred playing in the sand and anytime I would ask him if he wanted to get on the boat he would say no. He reluctantly tubed twice and really enjoyed bouncing on the water weanie. I got a little nervous several times because it seemed that each time the boat would start up and we would get going pretty fast, Wyatt thought he should walk all around. I don't know what he was thinking. Of course he ate a lot of candy, like a dentists son should, and the funniest was when he had a lik m' stick (or however you say that) and used his finger instead of the stick, resulting in a very green little finger and tongue!

Luke and Grandma Williams

Luke is turning into such a chubby little thing! He is a very happy baby and smiles all the time. Also, he did really well the whole time we were at Lake Powell and to my surprise he slept each time we got on the boat. We had a great time, but sure were glad to get home and sleep in our own beds, and we can't wait to see Jared tomorrow night!
