WEEKEND IN TAYLOR

On our way to Taylor we stopped in Rye to see the bike "graveyard". Every time we pass this place (you can see it right off the freeway) Jared tells me how, as a little boy, he used to love seeing all of the bikes and always wanted to stop and look. I think his family did stop once or twice...and we decided to stop and let Wyatt look. What a treat!! I had never seen so many bikes all in one place. It was amazing! Wyatt ran up and down the isles and thought everything was really cool. Wouldn't you love to look out of your window and see this? Enjoying tomatoes out of the gardenAhh the life...yes, they are really sleeping on the concrete! (Jared's brother and brother-in-law)Wyatt doing a little treasure hunting

LAKE POWELL 2008

THE BIG 3

Wyatt turned 3 Saturday, August 30th. He told me all he wanted for his birthday was a blue cake, but instead he got an awesome CARS party! Wyatt loves cars, if you couldn't tell. Wyatt was VERY excited for his day. Everytime the doorbell rang he would run screaming throughout the house. The day was perfect according to Wyatt.
Birthday boy at his party.First we tried to stick the nose on the clown. Then we each took a turn pulling a string from the pinata.Next Wyatt opened presents. Finally we enjoyed a slice of cake.Or a cupcake.
On Wednesday before Wyatt's big day we brought cupcakes decorated with lots of sprinkles (his favorite) to school! After the "birthday crown" was placed on his head the whole class sang Happy Birthday. Wyatt was beaming.
