Lukey Lou

Luke
(3 years 7 months old)

Loves:
tools
taking things apart, attempting to put them back together
toothbrushes (electric)
Levi's baby medical kit (plays doctor)
telling funny made-up stories
reading books
playing house or store
pushing the red bucket around (filled to the rim with all sorts of toys and tools)
putting his shoes on the wrong feet
one on one time
slushies
mac n' cheese
cereal
yogurt
getting himself dressed (and breaking lots of hangers until I made the smartest move ever and put his clothes on the bottom shelf...)
snacks (fruit snacks, candy, bananas, chips)
juice (aka, soda pop)
watching movies (Scooby Do, Tom and Jerry)
not smiling for pictures
jumping on the couch
hugs
kisses
riding his bike (without training wheels!)
Disneyland (mostly eating and sleeping at the hotel we stayed in)
wearing flip-flops
oranges
coloring/drawing monsters
Star Wars (Yoda)
the trampoline
playing games on the ipad
taking pictures with the cell phone
being silly
Luke is a sensitive, sweet little guy with a personality of his very own. The first few years of his life he spent observing...and didn't say much. Now he talks all the time and makes us laugh with his silliness.
He loves to ask questions and wants to know, 'WHY?"
He is very determined. He will make up his mind about something and won't change very easily. Sometimes I think he decides to do something (opposite of what Wyatt wants) just to stand out or be different.
He knows he is cute and uses that to his advantage.
Luke is a smart little guy.
He is fashionable and has his own sense of style. Luke isn't afraid to tell me he doesn't like something..."Mom, I like your shoes." or "I don't like that lady." I ask why? "Because I don't like her shirt."
Luke loves to wear jeans or shorts.
Once he went on and on telling me that he loved my hair, my eyeballs, my arms, my feet..."Mom, I even love your bones."
Luke, WE LOVE YOU!

This little man of mine is amazing.
I am constantly reminded of how lucky I am to have him in my life...
As his friend and his mom
Wyatt is sensistive
thoughtful
compassionate
strong willed
a good example
brave...
Just to name a few
Yesterday morning as I was getting ready, I heard someone in the kitchen. Everyone was still asleep (Jared had already left for work).
I walked into the kitchen and witnessed my 5 year old, Wyatt, sitting at the table with all of the bowls and spoons, milk, cereal, honey, and yogurt out, ready for breakfast.
He was so excited to have me see what he had done.
He said he got everything ready for breakfast and "even got your favorite cereal" (Shredded Wheat) for me!
He certainly made my morning.
I love this little man of mine.

Williams family Halloween party

Ever been to a Halloween party with a line dance?
Well, I have to tell you, you're missing out!
Right after Jared's parents got home from their 6 mo mission to Martins Cove, WY., they had all of the family over for a fun Halloween party!
Pinata
Food
Dancing
Visiting
Food
Trampoline
Kissing the witch
(Luke walked right up and kissed the witch (Grandma) right on the cheek before I could even get a pict! He wasn't afraid one bit this year.)
This year Wyatt and Luke dressed up as Luchadors
Levi was a cute clown who wouldn't wear his cute clown hat
I was the ugliest bag lady (why do I always say I don't want to be something ugly, but then decide to be something ugly every year?...and why is it that every year I get asked the same question, "What are you?")
Jared dressed up as an injured mountain biker
Let me tell you, his injuries looked legit (he had a stick sticking out of his arm-it was awesome).
Everyone loved it
The best part of the night for me was watching Jared "get down" while line dancing.

Halloween party

So, so fun.
I love Halloween parties.
Cupcakes with gummy worms
Cute dressed up kids (and the cutest Luchador's)
Editable mummies
Bounce house
Witches fingers
Sisters
Hot chocolate
Games
Thanks to the Francoms for such a festive party.
Levi and Jared left a little early because Levi wasn't feeling too good. I was pretty disappointed, cause he would've made a really pretty little girl!
Chance, Cole, Wyatt, LukeSisters!

Good friends

Tons of candy

Easy and quick graham cracker houses

LOTS AND LOTS OF SPOOKY FUN!

Wyatt had a few friends over after school and I was looking for something to keep them occupied...and here's what I came up with. The kids were stuffing their mouths with candy and trying not to eat their houses right away.

No such luck with Luke

Here he is taking a big bite out of his house right after he finished.

So funny
