We hope everyone had a very merry Christmas! We did! It always comes fast and then goes just as fast. For us the month of December has been filled with lots of Christmas parties, dinners, late nights watching movies, shopping, wrapping, temple lights, baking, decorating, a Christmas concert...it's been a busy one! Jared and I enjoyed Christmas Eve in our own home and couldn't wait to put the kids to bed so we could set up their gifts! We were excited for Wyatt to see his train and bed, complete with a car bedspread and pillows, in front of the tree. Christmas day we saw family and had a great breakfast with the Webb's, including my Mom and Carol (my Mom's old roomate who was recently baptized!). I'm sad it's all over, but am already excited for next year. I have some really good ideas for gifts! Happy New Year!

O THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS FRIGHTFUL...

Well, that is if rain counts! It may not be a white Christmas but at least it is getting cooler (although you would never be able to tell by the way we have Wyatt dressed..)! Wyatt thoroughly enjoyed playing in the rain, but I couldn't tell if he liked the rain or the garbage truck more. Wyatt is fascinated with the garbage truck and screams with anticipation when he hears it roaring down our street! Here he is with Jared waiting for the garbage truck to go by...simple pleasures.

Well, I guess it's time to spruce up the blog and get it all festive looking since Christmas is just around the corner!

I've been so preoccupied with getting our house all done up. Here are some of our latest projects...
No, your eyes are not deceiving you! This is ME up on the roof putting lights up. Jared gave me some lame story about him being too heavy and breaking the shingles. I am deathly afraid of heights, hence the freaky scared face.
My attempt at being "crafty." I like to call them "Christmas balls."
Thank you to my sister Connie for sewing Luke's stocking! I thought for sure I could get all 4 done before Christmas...only 3 more to go!

O Christmas tree! We're still looking for a star for the top!
