SUGAR

...Yes, sometimes I let Wyatt pick the marshmallows right out of the cereal...and yes, occasionally I let my kids eat candy right after breakfast. I figure if I'm doing it then how can I tell my kids no? My name is Christine and I am addicted to sugar...oh, and so are my kids. Yesterday Wyatt was in the other room watching a movie while I was in the kitchen unloading some groceries. I opened up a bag of candy very carefully so that Wyatt wouldn't hear (because he has come running in before asking for the candy) and sure enough he comes running in looking for the candy. I even went as far as to hide the candy behind something on the counter, but his expert candy sniffing nose sniffed it out and he found it right away! I was very proud. Another proud moment...One day I asked Wyatt what he wanted for breakfast to which he replied, "sugar." Luke's catching on as well. This morning he pointed to the cookies on the counter...clearly indicating that he wanted one for breakfast. Here at our house we don't worry about cavities or eventually losing our teeth...after all, we know a great dentist.

This is so funny! I am so glad for blogging. We can be friends again and it doesn't take any more time out of our busy schedules! Aren't I the worst friend? Anyways your kids are so cute, but I wouldn't really expect them not to be! Look at their mommy. Love-Raine

There is nothing wrong with starting the day out on a sugar high! Riley sounds like she would fit in your house just fine...I swear she has super hearing when I open a bag of "junk"...too bad the super hearing abilities don't continue when I am asking her do some some kind of chore!

Carrie told me last night that Luke's first word is GUM! I can't wait to hear him say it!! They take after you for sure. Abbey on the other hand, she asks for chips and crackers all day. She has had chips for breakfast before!! I don't know which one is worse?

How cute! i think this is so true for many of us moms. My kids also have that "ear" for candy wrappers. I find myself hiding in the pantry so i can sneak a treat. How pathetic huh.
You are welcome anytime to come up and hang out. I have really got into the food storage this year, and although i am just learning it i'm really having fun learning.
